Claremont, CA (Northland's NewsCenter) --- Four St. Scholastica track and field athletes were competing at the Division III NCAA outdoor track and field championships this weekend, three of those in the hammer throw.
Alec Seeley just edged her teammate in the women's hammer throw, placing 14th overall with a toss of 157 feet, 6 inches, while Becky Huberty came in 15th with a mark of 157 feet, 3 inches.
Tom Lysico, meanwhile, was competing in the men's hammer throw, coming in 14th place with a mark of 180 feet, 7 inches.
The fourth and final Saint competing at the NCAA championships was Tracy Perish in the heptathlon. She received a DNF on Friday after injuring her leg in the long jump competition, that after placing 19th during the first day of the event.
