Heroin use in Naperville will be in the spotlight during a community forum set for 7 p.m. July 16 at North Central College.
The anti-heroin forum, to be hosted by U.S. Rep. Judy Biggert (R-Hinsdale), will be held in Wentz Concert Hall at the Fine Arts Center, 171 E. Chicago Ave., on the NCC campus.
Local police departments, educators and health experts will provide information for parents and discuss the rise of heroin use among suburban youth.
Heroin use has become a major issue in the city, following the deaths of seven young people in the Naperville area in the past year.
